2 In your righteousness, deliver me and set me free;
incline your ear to me and save me.
3 Be my strong rock, a castle to keep me safe;
you are my crag and my stronghold.
4 Deliver me, my God, from the hand of the wicked,
from the clutches of the evildoer and the oppressor.
5 For you are my hope, O Lord God,
my confidence since I was young.
6 I have been sustained by you ever since I was born;
from my mother's womb you have been my strength;
my praise shall be always of you.
7 I have become a portent to many;
but you are my refuge and my strength.
8 Let my mouth be full of your praise

9 Do not cast me off in my old age;
forsake me not when my strength fails.
10 For my enemies are talking against me,

12 O God, be not far from me;
come quickly to help me, O my God.
13 Let those who set themselves against me be put to shame and be disgraced;
let those who seek to do me evil be covered with scorn and reproach.
14 But I shall always wait in patience,
and shall praise you more and more.
15 My mouth shall recount your mighty acts

though I cannot know the number of them.
16 I will begin with the mighty works of the Lord God;
I will recall your righteousness, yours alone.
17 O God, you have taught me since I was young,
and to this day I tell of your wonderful works.
18 And now that I am old and gray-headed, O God, do not forsake me,
till I make known your strength to this generation
and your power to all who are to come.
19 Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the heavens;
you have done great things;
who is like you, O God?
20 You have showed me great troubles and adversities,
but you will restore my life
and bring me up again from the deep places of the earth.
21 You strengthen me more and more;
you enfold and comfort me,
22 Therefore I will praise you upon the lyre for your
faithfulness, O my God;
I will sing to you with the harp, O Holy One of Israel.
23 My lips will sing with joy when I play to you,
and so will my soul, which you have redeemed.
24 My tongue will proclaim your righteousness all day long,
for they are ashamed and disgraced who sought to do me harm.

Experience
The search for knowledge from the experience of others extends into knowledge beyond personal experience.
John Locke
b. 8.29.1632 Wrington, Somerset, England
d. 10.28.1704 High Laver, Essex, England
John Locke was an English philosopher and physician. He grew up and lived through one of the most extraordinary centuries of English political and intellectual history.
It was a century in which conflicts between the Crown and Parliament overlapped with those between Protestants, Anglicans and Catholics. The conflicts swirled into civil war in the 1640's.
He is considered one of the first of the British empiricists. He is commonly known as the Father of Liberalism. His writings on social contract theory influenced Voltaire, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, many Scottish Enlightenment thinkers and the American revolutionaries.
Locke's theory of mind has been cited as the origin of modern conceptions of identity and the self. These concepts figured prominently in the work of later philosophers such as David Hume, Rousseau and Immanuel Kant.
Locke was the first to define the self through a continuity of consciousness. The mind was a blank slate or tabula rasa at birth. He maintained that we are born without innate ideas. This ran contrary to Cartesian philosophy based on pre-existing concepts. Knowledge was instead determined only by experience derived from sense perception.
He has not only been identified as the founder of British empiricism, he has been thought to be the most influential of Enlightenment thinkers.
Wrington
Wrington is a village in North Somerset, England. It is in the south west corner of the island.
Somerset is a rural county with rolling hills and large flat expanses of land.
The Church of All Saints has 13th-century foundations. It was remodelled with the addition of a west tower about 1450. There was a restoration in 1859 and further restoration of the tower in 1948.
The church includes stone busts to John Locke and Hannah More on either side of the door dating from the early 19th century.
John Locke
John Locke was born on 29 August 1632, in a small thatched cottage by the church in Wrington, Somerset, about 12 miles from Bristol. He was baptised the same day.
The family moved to the market town of Pensford about 7 miles south of Bristol soon after Locke's birth. He grew up in a rural Tudor house in Belluton.
John Locke was born to Puritan parents of modest means. His mother was Agnes Keene.
His father was a country lawyer who served in a cavalry company on the Puritan side in the early stages of the English Civil War.
His father’s commander, Alexander Popham, became the local MP. It was his patronage which allowed the young John to gain an excellent education. He went to Westminster School in London in 1647.
John went to Christ Church, Oxford from Westminster in the autumn of 1652 at the age of 20. Just as Westminster school was the most important English school, Christ Church was the most important Oxford college.
Locke was awarded a bachelor's degree in February 1656, a master's degree in June 1658 and a bachelor of medicine in February 1675. He studied medicine extensively during his time at Oxford and worked with such noted scientists and thinkers as Robert Boyle and Robert Hooke.
He met Lord Anthony Ashley Cooper, 1st Earl of Shaftesbury in 1666. Cooper had come to Oxford seeking treatment for a liver infection. He was impressed with Locke and persuaded him to become part of his retinue.
Locke had been looking for a career. He moved into Shaftesbury's home at Exeter House in London to serve as Lord Ashley's personal physician in 1667. He resumed his medical studies under the tutelage of Thomas Sydenham in London.
Sydenham had a major effect on Locke's natural philosophical thought. The effect would become evident in An Essay Concerning Human Understanding. Sydenham would eventually come to be called the English Hippocrates.
The essay was one of the principal sources of empiricism in modern philosophy. The first book refuted the rationalist notion of innate ideas. The second set forth the theory of ideas.
A distinction was drawn between simple and complex ideas. Simple qualities such as "red," "sweet," "round," etc were used to build complex abstractions such as numbers, causes and effects, abstract ideas, ideas of substances, identity and diversity.
The primary qualities of bodies like shape, motion and the arrangement of minute particles are distinct from the secondary qualities that produce various sensations like sweetness. Secondary qualities are dependent upon the primary.
Locke considered personal identity or the self to be founded on consciousness by way of memory. It was not the substance of either the soul or the body.
Book III is concerned with language. Book IV describes knowledge in intuition, mathematics, moral philosophy, natural philosophy ("science"), faith and opinion.
Locke's medical knowledge was put to the test when Shaftesbury's life was threatened by the liver infection. Locke coordinated the advice of several physicians.
He was probably instrumental in persuading Shaftesbury to undergo surgery to remove the cyst. Surgery was life-threatening itself. Shaftesbury survived and prospered. He credited Locke with saving his life.
Locke served as Secretary of the Board of Trade and Plantations during this time. He was the Secretary to the Lords Proprietors of Carolina. It helped to shape his ideas on international trade and economics.
Shaftesbury was a founder of the Whig movement, exerted great influence on Locke's political ideas. The Whigs' origin lay in constitutional monarchism and opposition to absolute monarchy. The position against Hobbes as an advocate for absolute monarchy was a straw man fallacy.
The Whigs played a central role in the Glorious Revolution of 1688. They were the standing enemies of the Stuart kings who were Roman Catholic. They supported the slave trade and slavery for the colonies.
Locke became involved in politics when Shaftesbury became Lord Chancellor in 1672. He spent some time traveling across France as tutor and medical attendant to Caleb Banks following Shaftesbury's fall from favor in 1675.
He returned to England in 1679 when Shaftesbury's political fortunes took a brief positive turn. Locke composed the bulk of the Two Treatises of Government around this time most likely at Shaftesbury's recommendation.
The First Treatise attacks patriarchalism in the form of a refutation of Robert Filmer's Patriarcha. The Second Treatise outlines Locke's ideas for a more civilized society based on natural rights and contract theory.
Two Treatises was first published, anonymously, in December 1689. It was translated into French by David Mazzel in 1691. Mazzel was a French Huguenot living in the Netherlands. The translation left out Locke's "Preface," all of the First Treatise and the first chapter of the Second Treatise which summarized Locke's conclusions in the First Treatise.
It was in this form that Locke's work was reprinted during the 18th century in France. Montesquieu, Voltaire and Rousseau were exposed to this translation.
The only American edition from the 18th century was printed in 1773 in Boston. It left out the same sections. There were no other American editions until the 20th century.
The First Treatise is focused on the refutation of the Patriarcha of Sir Robert Filmer. Filmer had argued that civil society was founded on a divinely sanctioned patriarchalism.
Locke proceeded through Filmer's arguments, contested his proofs from Scripture and ridiculed them as senseless. He concluded that no government can be justified by an appeal to the divine right of kings.
Filmer and Locke represented their incarnation of the debate based on the differences of Plato and Aristotle. Plato favored the description of the deity as Absolute, whereas Aristotle concerned himself with universal conditions that explicitly tolerated slavery as an elevation of civilized over primitive society.
The Second Treatise outlined a theory of civil society. Locke began by describing the state of nature with a picture that was more stable than that presented by Thomas Hobbes. Hobbes had described nature without government as a state of "war of every man against every man."
Locke argued that all men are created equal by God in the state of nature. He explained from this the rise of property and civilization. The only legitimate governments are those that have the consent of the people. Any government that rules without the consent can be overthrown as had been the case in the "Glorious Revolution."
While Locke presented an argument that sounded like it was more reasonable, he made some radically liberal statements that are still used to influence foreign and domestic policy in contemporary western society.
The "consent of the people" was a perception that could be manipulated with media expression. Stories could be told to 'inform' the public that other governments did not satisfy the condition of consent.
The claim of the violation of civil or human rights was used to suggest that the government was not civil. If it was not civil, it was tyrannical and warranted rebellion towards the end of regime change.
The media expression was made to 'check' to see if the public would protest taxation to overthrow the foreign power.
This was where the doctrine for destruction became especially devisive.
The State of War
https://oll.libertyfund.org/pages/john-locke-two-treatises-1689
Locke used an argument against somebody else to implicate Hobbes as an advocate for absolute monarchy.
Louis XIV had used the statement "I am the state" to manage the affairs of France for 72 years. He instituted some changes in his rule that refused to delegate authority in the customary way.
It is probably more appropriate to associate the idea of the absolute with the philosophy of Plato and the universal with that of Aristotle, than with the political philosophy of Hobbes.
It is appropriate to question the particular use of the concepts of absolute or universal authority with respect to human application.
The law against murder is still regarded as an absolute. The prohibition of killing someone else is not absolute or universal insofar as lethal defense against a deadly attack is regarded as an exception to the general prohibition.
Locke documented a number of reasonable provisions with respect for government for the Earl of Shaftesbury. The Whigs were the political forum for the Puritans.
They enacted the English Bill of Rights for their demographic representation. The expression is much too particular for modern standards of legality, but there were advances in legislative initiatives that have come to be be recognized as standard for constitutional government for monarchy or republic.
When Locke wrote about the state of war, he made the statement that he had the right to destroy anyone who had the intent to destroy him.
State of War S.16
Two Treatises on Civil Government: 2d Treatise
"THE state of war is a state of enmity and destruction...I should have a right to destroy that which threatens me with destruction: for, by the fundamental law of nature, man being to be preserved as much as possible, when all cannot be preserved, the safety of the innocent is to be preferred: and one may destroy a man who makes war upon him, or has discovered an enmity to his being..."
--------------------------
The statement in itself alludes to something that is correct, but the assertion that there is a right to destroy implied a proposal to enslave those who had yet to adopt settlement and private property as manifestations of civil society. The proposal was used in a general application to subject primitive people to slavery with respect for universal law.
The primitive lifestyle was taken to represent a threat to the extension of civilized society into primitive territories. Natives in invaded lands were given the 'choice' to work as slaves, or the suffer indefinite war against any indication of opposition to expansion.
The Whig support for slavery, aristocracy and serfdom was documented in the Carolina Constitutions. The document was co-authored by Locke. The extension of civilized society would not have been as rapid without the provisions, but it would not have been as offensive with respect for the inclusion of primitive people into civilized society.
Locke fled to the Netherlands in 1683. He had time to return to his writing. He spent time re-writing the Essay on Human Understanding and composing the Letter on Toleration. Locke did not return home until after the Glorious Revolution.
King James II of England (VII of Scotland) was overthrown in 1688 by a union of Parliamentarians and the stadtholder of the Dutch Republic William III of Oranje-Nassau (William of Orange).
The decision to retain a monarch a resulted in his ascension to the English throne as William III of England. He ruled jointly with Mary II, as Protestants. Mary was the daughter of James II. She had a strong claim the English Throne.
Locke claimed in the "Preface" to the Two Treatises that its purpose was to justify William III's ascension to the throne.
Locke's close friend Lady Masham invited him to join her at Otes, the Mashams' country house in Essex. His time there was marked by variable health from asthma attacks. He became an intellectual hero of the Whigs nevertheless. He discussed matters with such figures as John Dryden and Isaac Newton during this time.
He died on 28 October 1704 at HIgh Laver in Essex at 72 years of age. He was buried in the churchyard of the village of High Laver, east of Harlow in Essex, where he had lived in the household of Sir Francis Masham since 1691. Locke never married nor had children.
Events that happened during Locke's lifetime include the English Restoration, the Great Plague of London and the Great Fire of London. He did not quite see the Act of Union of 1707, though the thrones of England and Scotland were held in personal union throughout his life. Constitutional monarchy and parliamentary democracy were in their infancy during his time.

Felons in Sanctuary Cities
Convicted felons who have crossed the border illegally ought to be deported.
The restriction of the purchase of a gun for an illegal immigrant is not secure enough as a measure for law enforcement.
The idea of sanctuary from prosecution extends back to questionable belief in the sanctity of providing sanctuary for the enemy of my enemy. It was allowed for local administration by the Catholic Church, but the notion of universal law was attached by way of overstatement.
Locke expressed an argument for sanctuary that was overextended as well.
He wrote in his Second Treatise "I doubt not but this will seem a very strange doctrine to some men: but before they condemn it, I desire them to resolve me, by what right any prince or state can put to death, or punish an alien, for any crime he commits in their country."
(https://oll.libertyfund.org/pages/john-locke-two-treatises-1689, S.9)
The expression "their country" is ambiguous. It suggests that law enforcement can't even punish a felon seeking sanctuary in their homeland. The felon could commit a crime in his own country, then immigrate to another to escape prosecution where the liberal ethic would protect him from prosecution for further criminal action.
This liberal doctrine has been aggressively promoted by leading Democrats who seek to tax citizens to pay for the prevention of extradition or deportation.

Proper Acceptance of Abstraction
Compound Idea
"...we are told, the mind being able to consider each quality singly, or abstracted from those other qualities with which it is united, does by that means frame to itself abstract ideas. For example, there is perceived by sight an object extended, coloured, and moved: this mixed or compound idea the mind resolving into its simple, constituent parts, and viewing each by itself, exclusive of the rest, does frame the abstract ideas of extension, colour, and motion. Not that it is possible for colour or motion to exist without extension; but only that the mind can frame to itself by ABSTRACTION the idea of colour exclusive of extension, and of motion exclusive of both colour and extension."

Saitama, Saitama
Saitama is the capital and the most populous city of the prefecture. It is located about 25 km (15 miles) north of central Tokyo. Many of the residents commute to work there.
The city sits in the middle of the Kanto Plain. This is the largest plain in Japan. The city was built on lowlands and plateaus. Most of the terrain is less than 20 m (65.6 ft.) above sea level. There are no mountain ranges or hills within the city limits.
The western portion of the city lies on the lowland created by the Arakawa River. Smaller rivers branch from the Arakawa. The major rivers flow southward almost parallel to each other. The rest of the area mostly resides on the Omiya Plateau. The plateau extends in the north-south direction.
The average high in August is 31.5 C (88.7 F). The average low in January is -1.5 C (29.3 F).
The economy is principally constituted by commercial business. The city is one of many commercial centers in the Greater Tokyo area. It serves the prefecture, North Kanto and northeast Honshu.
The Honda Legend is manufactured at the Sayama Plant. Food, optical, precision and pharmaceutical products are produced there as well. Calsonic Kansei is a global automotive company headquartered in the city.
Urawa Station is 24.2 km (15 m.) from Tokyo and 6.1 km (3.7 m.) from Omiya. Omiya Station is part of the high speed train network. It is the largest railway hub in the prefecture.
Saitama Super Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena. The maximum spectator capacity is listed as 37,000 seats. Morning Musume, *C-ute, Berryz Kobo and AKB48 have performed in the stadium.

Maimai was born on February 7, 1996 in Saitama.
She took part in the Hello! Project Kids auditions at the age of 6. She passed along with 14 other girls on June 30. Her audition song was "Te wo Nigitte Arukitai" by Goto Maki.
Her first appearance in the entertainment industry was in the group 4KIDS. The group appeared in Minimoni the Movie in 2002.
Hello! Project Kids performed alongside Morning Musume at concerts as backup dancers. Hagiwara performed with the group through 2004.
Hagiwara was assigned as a member of *C-ute with 7 other Hello! Project Kids members in 2005. The 8 members were passed over when it came to forming Berryz Koubou. *C-ute originally released songs on an indie label. Four indie singles were released in 2006. They also released their first album.
*C-ute first debut single, "Sakura Chirari" ranked third on the Oricon charts on February 21, 2007. This was the first day that it was shown to the public. The average age for the group was 13. They became the youngest group in the top 10.
Hagiwara published two individual photo books along with one group book that celebrated graduation from high school.
Hagiwara was seen walking with a man on a tabloid's web program in April of 2016. She apologized to the public for any misunderstanding. She consulted with the other *C-ute members about whether she should resign. The other members expressed their desire to work hard together.
It was announced on August 20, 2016 that the group would disband in June 2017 at the Saitama Super Arena. They were ready to move on to different positions in their careers.
There is a 'no-dating' rule for the Hello! Project members who have not graduated or disbanded that is intended to help the performers to stay focused on their performance work.
Stage performance, especially with music and dancing, requires a greater time committment than other forms of work. Studio production of records and videos seeks to create the highest performance level for the market. It doesn't leave time for a relationship with regular dates.
Hagi-chan announced that she would study English in New Zealand after the disbandment of *C-ute on June 12, 2017.
She was announced as the design producer for &IDOL. The company was organized by Ito Yuna for former idols to collaborate with various industries to develop a new market to help grow the economy with a business concept that is centered on idols.
Their first project was a beach cafe named SUMMER&IDOL. It was open at Yuigahama in Kamakura Prefecture from July 2 to August 31.
Hagi-chan announced her brand name Mii with the design for an original T-shirt. She established an official website for the company on September 13, 2018.

This building is a home.
It is my shelter when I don't roam.

My heart aspires to growth.
My mind builds upon what's known.
It is defined as property

My spirit rejoices with love.

There with the same furrow my fathers had frowned

Stuttgart is the capital and largest city of the German state of Baden-Württemberg. Stuttgart is located on the Neckar river in a fertile valley known locally as the "Stuttgart Cauldron." It lies an hour from the Swabian Jura and the Black Forest.
Duke Eberhard Ludwig moved the seat of the Duchy out of the declining city of Stuttgart for the first time in centuries. Ludwigsburg was founded in 1704. It was made the new seat in 1718. The Baroque palace known as the "Versailles of Swabia" was still under construction.
When Eberhard Ludwig died, his nephew Charles Alexander, ascended to the throne. Charles Alexander himself died in 1737. His son Charles Eugene became the premature Duke (and later King) at the age of nine.
Charles desired to move the capital back to Stuttgart when he came of age and returned from his tutoring at the court of Frederick the Great, King of Prussia. He commissioned the construction of the New Castle in 1746, Castle Solitude in 1763, the Karlsschule in 1770 and Castle Hohenheim in 1785.
Stuttgart was proclaimed capital once more when Württemberg became an electorate in 1803.
Wilhelm Hegel was born on August 27, 1770 in Stuttgart. Christened Georg Wilhelm Friedrich, he was known as Wilhelm to his close family. His father, Georg Ludwig, was secretary to the revenue office at the court of Karl Eugen, Duke of Württemberg.
Hegel's mother, Maria Magdalena Louisa (née Fromm), was the daughter of a lawyer at the High Court of Justice at the Württemberg court. She died of a "bilious fever" (Gallenfieber) when Hegel was thirteen. Hegel and his father also caught the disease, but they narrowly survived.
Hegel entered the Tübinger Stift,a Protestant seminary attached to the University of Tübingen, at the age of eighteen. His roommates were the poet and philosopher Friedrich Hölderlin and the philosopher-to-be Friedrich Wilhelm Joseph Schelling.
They shared a dislike for what they regarded as the restrictive environment of the Seminary. The three became close friends and mutually influenced each other's ideas. All greatly admired Hellenic civilization and Hegel additionally steeped himself in Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Lessing during this time.
They watched the unfolding of the French Revolution with shared enthusiasm. Schelling and Hölderlin immersed themselves in theoretical debates on Kantian philosophy from which Hegel remained aloof.
Hegel envisaged his future as that of a Popularphilosoph at this time. He saw himself as a "man of letters" who serves to make the abstruse ideas of philosophers accessible to a wider public. His own felt need to engage critically with the central ideas of Kantianism did not come until 1800.
He was a German philosopher and an important figure of idealism. He achieved wide renown in his day. His primary influence remained within the continental tradition of philosophy, but he has become increasingly influential in the broader analytic tradition.
Hegel's principal achievement was his development of a distinctive articulation of idealism. His has been called "absolute idealism". The dualism of subject and object was to be overcome for correspondence with truth. His philosophy of spirit conceptually integrated psychology, the state, history, art, religion and philosophy. His account of the master–slave dialectic has been highly influential, especially in 20th-century France.
His concept of Geist has been traslated as 'mind'. The historical manifestation of the logical concept and the "sublation" included the integration without elimination or reduction of seemingly contradictory or opposing factors.
The apparent opposition between nature and freedom was resolved in "absolute reality." The opposition between immanence and transcendence was reconciled in Spirit. Hegel has been seen in the 20th century as the originator of the thesis, antithesis, synthesis triad, but the explicit phrase originated with Johann Gottlieb Fichte.
Popper has compared the idealism of Hegel to that of Plato and Marx. It can be viewed as anti-scientific even though it is analytic with statistical description. The idealism lends itself to excessive abstraction. The tendency is to overcompensate with the threat of violence to achieve change.
Hegel's philosophy is regarded as derisive in this sense. Plato had considered violence the means to control people with the state. Marx had predicted that violence would be necessary to overthrow the capitalist regime. Although Hegel remains a divisive figure in this regard, his canonical stature within Western philosophy is recognized.

Los Angeles surpassed Chicago as the second largest city in population in the US in 1980. The city saw a large increase of street gangs during the latter decades of the 20th century. Crack cocaine became available. The sale of the drug was dominated by gangs in the 1980's. Gangs were largely confined to lower-income inner-city sections, but gang influence extended beyond those boundaries.
A subway system was developed and built through the 1980's as a major goal of mayor Tom Bradley. It stretches from North Hollywood to Union Station. The system connects to light rail lines that extend to the neighboring cities of Long Beach, Norwalk and Pasadena among others.
The ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach make up the nation's largest harbor complex. The two ports handle 44% of all goods imported by cargo container into the United States.
The overall metropolitan LA economy was healthy. One five year boom period between 1985 to 1990 attracted 400,000 working immigrants mostly from Asia and Mexico. About 575,000 workers moved to the city from elsewhere in the U.S.
Chris Pine was born in Los Angeles in 1980. His father, Robert Pine, is an actor who co-starred on CHiPs as Sergeant Joseph Getraer. His mother, Gwynne Gilford, is a former actress who became a practicing psychotherapist. He has an older sister, Katie.
His maternal grandmother, Anne Gwynne (née Marguerite Gwynne Trice), was a Hollywood actress. His maternal grandfather, Max M. Gilford (born Max Goldfarb), was an attorney who was elected president of the Hollywood Bar Association. Pine's maternal grandfather was from a Russian Jewish family.
Chris graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2002 with a B.A. in English. He was initially scared of looking for a place to fit in and had a hard time making friends when he got to Berkeley. He got into theater because he was not interested in joining a fraternity.
He is best known for playing James T. Kirk in the Star Trek reboot film series (2009–), Will in Unstoppable (2010), Cinderella's Prince in Into the Woods (2014), Toby Howard in Hell or High Water (2016), Bernie Webber in The Finest Hours (2016), Steve Trevor in Wonder Woman (2017) and Dr. Alexander Murry in A Wrinkle in Time (2018).

Civil strife struck the city of Wuhan in the "July 20th Incident" in 1967. There was an armed conflict between two hostile groups who were fighting for control over the city at the height of the Cultural Revolution.
The Cultural Revolution was formally called the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution. It was a sociopolitical movement in China from 1966 until 1976. It was launched by Mao Zedong, the Chairman of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Mao had proclaimed the foundation of the People's Republic of China (PRC), a single-party state controlled by the CPC on October 1, 1949.
The stated goal for the cultural revolution was to preserve 'true' Communist ideology in the country by purging remnants of capitalist and traditional elements from Chinese society. Mao Zedong Thought was to be re-imposed as the dominant ideology within the Party. The revolution marked Mao's return to a position of power after the failure of his Great Leap Forward.
The Leap Forward was an economic and social campaign by the Communist Party of China (CPC) from 1958 to 1962. The campaign was led by Mao. It aimed to rapidly transform the country from an agrarian economy into a socialist society through rapid industrialization and collectivization.
It is commonly considered to have caused the Great Chinese Famine. The famine was caused by a combination of adverse weather conditions, social pressure, economic mismanagement and radical changes in agriculture imposed by government regulations. When poor cultivation technique is widespread, it creates environmental problems.
The Cultural Revolution had paralyzed China politically. It negatively affected both the economy and society of the country to a significant degree. The movement was launched in May 1966. Mao alleged that bourgeois elements had infiltrated the government and society at large with the aim to restore capitalism.
Mao insisted that these "revisionists" be removed through violent class struggle to eliminate his rivals within the Communist Party. China's youth responded to Mao's appeal by forming Red Guard groups around the country.
The movement spread into the military, urban workers and the Communist Party leadership itself. It resulted in widespread factional struggles in all walks of life. It led to a mass purge of senior officials in the top of leadership. Liu Shaoqi and Deng Xiaoping were the most notable among these. Mao's personality cult grew during the period.
Many people were persecuted and suffered a wide range of abuses including public humiliation, arbitrary imprisonment, torture, hard labor, sustained harassment, seizure of property and sometimes execution in the violent struggles that ensued across the country.
A large segment of the population was forcibly displaced. The urban youth were moved to rural regions during the Down to the Countryside Movement. Historical relics and artifacts were destroyed. Cultural and religious sites were ransacked.
The two opposing forces in the Wuhan Incident in 1972 were the "Million Heroes" and the "Wuhan Workers' General Headquarters". The former numbered about 500,000 people. It was comprised mainly by skilled workers, state and local party employees. They were supported by the local Peoples Liberation Army (PLA). They were led by the commander of the Wuhan Military Region, General Chen Zaidao.
The "Wuhan Workers' General Headquarters" also numbered close to 500,000 people. It was mostly comprised by workers and students from Red Guard organizations.
Both sides engaged in an extensive propaganda war in an attempt to enlist community support. Central authorities in Beijing eventually endorsed the Worker's Headquarters faction as the "true" revolutionary group. Chen Zaidao was reprimanded for his military support to Million Heroes.
The event was considered a pivotal turning point in the Cultural Revolution. It marked the first time military leaders refused to carry out orders given by the central authorities and the Cultural Revolution Group in particular. Mao and his core associates scaled back the movement's most radical components out of fear of a more widespread PLA revolt.
Mao welcomed American President Richard Nixon in Beijing in 1972. This signaled the start of a policy of opening China to the world. China had been anti-capitalist, but capitalism was not the enemy. Industrial socialism was the error in the western government of civilization. Communism had strayed into populism, but the US and the UK were not governing government with capitalist principles.
Mao suffered a series of heart attacks in 1976 after years of ill health. He died at the age of 82. He was succeeded as the paramount leader by Premier Hua Guofeng. Hua was quickly sidelined and replaced by Deng Xiaoping.
Liu Yifei was born in Tongji Hospital in Wuhan in the Hubei province of China on 25 August 1987. Her birth name was "An Feng". She is an only child. Her father is An Shaokang (安少康), a 1st Secretary in the Chinese Embassy in France and a French language university professor. Her mother is Liu Xiaoli (刘晓莉), a dancer and a stage performer.
Her parents divorced when she was 4 years old. She was raised solely by her mother. That same year, she adopted her mother's family name and changed her legal name to "Liu Ximeizi". She began modelling, along with training in singing, dancing and playing the piano. Her godfather is Chen Jinfei (陈金飞), the Chairman of Beijing Tongchan Investment Group.
Liu and her mother moved to New York City when she was 10 years old. She attended Louis Pasteur Middle School 67. She gained her US citizenship while living in Queens.
She returned to China in 2002 to pursue an acting career. She adopted the stage name "Liu Yifei" (刘亦菲). Liu was accepted into the Performance Institute of Beijing Film Academy at the age of 15. This was several weeks after her return to China. She graduated in 2006.
Liu Yifei received offers to star in various television series immediately after her admittance to the academy. Her first television appearance was in the period romance drama The Story of a Noble Family (2003). The series was based on Zhang Henshui's novel of the same name. The series achieved the highest ratings on CCTV and positive reviews from audience.
She was chosen by Zhang Jizhong to play Wang Yuyan in Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils the same year. This was an adaptation of Louis Cha's wuxia novel of the same title. The series was broadcast in Taiwan. It achieved a rating of 5.69 to become the highest-rated Chinese drama in the area. Liu's role as the beautiful Wang Yuyan earned her the nickname of "Fairy Sister" by the media and fans.
Liu Yifei is a Chinese-American actress, model and singer. She was named as one of the New Four Dan Actresses in China in 2009. She was cast as the lead in Disney's live-action adaptation of Mulan in 2017.

Chiba is on the east coast of Honshu. The land largely consists of the Bōsō Peninsula, which encloses the eastern side of Tokyo Bay. The capital city goes by the same name, Chiba.
The administrative structure of present-day Chiba Prefecture changed significantly in the Asuka period (538 – 710) under the Taika Reform of 645. The Fusa Province was divided into two. Shimōsa Province (also called Shimofusa) was in the north. Kazusa Province was in the southern area.
Awa Province was separated from Kazusa Prefecture in the south of Chiba Prefecture in 718. These administrative units existed until they were abolished and merged into Chiba Prefecture after the Meiji restoration.
The central government established a kokubunji provincial temple in each province. Kokubunji were Buddhist temples. They were established by Emperor Shōmu during the Nara period (710 – 794). The emperor decreed both a kokubun-ji for monks and a kokubunni-ji for nuns.
The city sits about 40 kilometres (25 mi) southeast of the center of Tokyo on Tokyo Bay.
Summer Sonic is a three-day event held each year in August. It is held simultaneously in Chiba and Osaka. The festival has been a rock 'n' roll tradition since 2000. It features some of the biggest names in music.
Asakura was born on September 3, 2000 in Chiba, Japan. She is a Japanese idol under Hello! Project as a member of Tsubaki Factory. She first joined Hello Pro Kenshuusei in November 2014.
Tsubaki Factory is also known as Camellia Factory. It is a Japanese pop group under Hello! Project, originally formed with six members from Hello Pro Kenshuusei in late April 2015. There were nine members as of August 2016. Their sister group is Kobushi Factory.

This will last for generations.
That which is legal about law is regal
from the eagle to the beetle, you people.
Mercy endures in memory at length.
Gentle generation is the foundation for love with strength.
Love secures endurance.
Endurance with education and allurance
yields wisdom and knowledge for insurance
with perspective on perception that yields judgment for assurance
Let the vote denote the number
of those who support policy for office that does not encumber
all the people as the greatest number.
Let the vote connote opposition to policies that harm the public.
Let freedom ring for people in kingdom or republic.
Allow defense when police protection is not at hand;
free trade so plutocracy does not rule the land;
construction for protection against damage from the elements and man;
communications with people in foreign nations;
travel to experience different sensations
in various locations.
Beauty is in the strength of the song.
Success rings long with the bong
of the gong.
Smoke drifts slowly from the echo of dreams.
Things are not as certain as they seem.
Open the gates of perspective on perception for consciousness.
I will see light with the sight that is given to perceive more of the less perceptible
with tests.
I will draw the inference
that reason helps me to believe.
I will live to declare the art of assurance
that science has drawn for me.
My ride
is the tide.
I surf
the turf
like a porpoise with purpose;
dancing with waves that surface
through swirls, curls and spirals in turbulance.
Dare to have mercy.
Mercy endures in memory for surety.
Mercy endures in memory at length.
Gentle generation is the foundation for love with strength.
117 Laudate Dominum
1 Praise the Lord, all you nations; *
laud him, all you peoples.
2 For his loving-kindness toward us is great, *
and the faithfulness of the Lord endures for ever.
Hallelujah!
118 Confitemini Domino
1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; *
his mercy endures for ever.
2 Let Israel now proclaim, *
"His mercy endures for ever."
3 Let the house of Aaron now proclaim, *
"His mercy endures for ever."
4 Let those who fear the Lord now proclaim, *
"His mercy endures for ever."
5 I called to the Lord in my distress; *
the Lord answered by setting me free.
6 The Lord is at my side, therefore I will not fear; *
what can anyone do to me?
7 The Lord is at my side to help me; *
I will triumph over those who hate me.
8 It is better to rely on the Lord *
than to put any trust in flesh.
9 It is better to rely on the Lord *
than to put any trust in rulers.
10 All the ungodly encompass me; *
in the name of the Lord I will repel them.
11 They hem me in, they hem me in on every side; *
in the name of the Lord I will repel them.
12 They swarm about me like bees;
they blaze like a fire of thorns; *
in the name of the Lord I will repel them.
13 I was pressed so hard that I almost fell, *
but the Lord came to my help.
14 The Lord is my strength and my song, *
and he has become my salvation.
15 There is a sound of exultation and victory *
in the tents of the righteous:
16 "The right hand of the Lord has triumphed! *
the right hand of the Lord is exalted!
the right hand of the Lord has triumphed!"
17 I shall not die, but live, *
and declare the works of the Lord.
18 The Lord has punished me sorely, *
but he did not hand me over to death.
19 Open for me the gates of righteousness; *
I will enter them;
I will offer thanks to the Lord.
20 "This is the gate of the Lord; *
he who is righteous may enter."
21 I will give thanks to you, for you answered me *
and have become my salvation.
22 The same stone which the builders rejected *
has become the chief cornerstone.
23 This is the Lord's doing, *
and it is marvelous in our eyes.
24 On this day the Lord has acted; *
we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25 Hosannah, Lord, hosannah! *
Lord, send us now success.
26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord; *
we bless you from the house of the Lord.
27 God is the Lord; he has shined upon us; *
form a procession with branches up to the horns of the altar.
28 "You are my God, and I will thank you; *
you are my God, and I will exalt you."
29 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; *
his mercy endures for ever.

Remember
Penelope Cruz
Remember
Courage
Rappelez-vous de courage.

Yūki o wasurenaide kudasai
ps132
Remember.
Danger is required for courage.
There are promises to keep
despite adversity:
"I will not sleep under the roof
of my house; nor climb into bed;
my eyes will not close
nor my eyelids flutter down to defeat
in sleep before I find a resting place
for the promise of the memory
of the essential essence
of divine presence."
The ark. We heard that it was fruitful
in the field between the trees in the forest.
Let us go to the dwelling place with love.
Let us rejoice with thanksgiving
for the seat of mercy in judgment.
"Rise O light for life. Rise to your resting place
in the heaven under the roof of our sky.
You and the mighty ark of your promise will attest
to the bounty of our faith."
Let your people be clothed in celebration.
Let the faithful rejoice with jubilation.
"Do not turn away from the face of the Anointed
who suffered the trials of hardship with courage."
An oath has been sworn for the brave.
It will not be broken in truth.
"The fruit of your body
will sit upon a throne.
"Your children's children
will not be alone
when they keep the covenant
and the testimony
that truth condones."
The Leader chooses leadership
as the temper for a place in space.
Love for life will be the home
for habitation.
"I will dwell here
for I find delight in the light."
Surely, your provisions will be blessed.
The poor will eat in their houses.
Priests will be adored by the horn of salvation.
The instrument will be played for the people with joy.
Valor will flourish there.
Bravery will be adorned with light
from the lamp for the Anointed.
"Your enemies will have to learn from shame,
but this crown will shine to illuminate time."
132 Memento, Domine
1 Lord, remember David, *
and all the hardships he endured;
2 How he swore an oath to the Lord *
and vowed a vow to the Mighty One of Jacob:
3 "I will not come under the roof of my house, *
nor climb up into my bed;
4 I will not allow my eyes to sleep, *
nor let my eyelids slumber;
5 Until I find a place for the Lord, *
a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob."
6 "The ark! We heard it was in Ephratah; *
we found it in the fields of Jearim.
7 Let us go to God's dwelling place; *
let us fall upon our knees before his footstool."
8 Arise, O Lord, into your resting-place, *
you and the ark of your strength.
9 Let your priests be clothed with righteousness; *
let your faithful people sing with joy.
10 For your servant David's sake, *
do not turn away the face of your Anointed.
11 The Lord has sworn an oath to David; *
in truth, he will not break it:
12 "A son, the fruit of your body *
will I set upon your throne.
13 If your children keep my covenant
and my testimonies that I shall teach them, *
their children will sit upon your throne for evermore."
14 For the Lord has chosen Zion; *
he has desired her for his habitation:
15 "This shall be my resting-place for ever; *
here will I dwell, for I delight in her.
16 I will surely bless her provisions, *
and satisfy her poor with bread.
17 I will clothe her priests with salvation, *
and her faithful people will rejoice and sing.
18 There will I make the horn of David flourish; *
I have prepared a lamp for my Anointed.
19 As for his enemies, I will clothe them with shame; *
but as for him, his crown will shine."
