Jennifer Lawrence:
Plane Scare

Seijitsu ni kurushimu

The waters reach up to my neck.
The slimy brine I try to climb is worse than a wet deck.

The grip of the rip pulls me from the shore.
It feels like a battle moving toward war.

The water is rising. Waves wash over my face.
The effort to breathe has become a race.

The pull is toward deeper waters.
The depth of wet holds the darkest of daughters.

My voice has grown weary from calling for help.
The kelp invokes shock with a more urgent yelp.

My eyes grow dim from searching, not finding.
The effort to find has become blinding in the binding.

 I have yet to slip the surly bonds of the sea.
Would to dance in the height of sky with wings that make me feel so free.

No wonder of it. The sheer slap of salt water ought to
shine light for my mind to find the way out of the strewn spew
of wetness no longer blue.

It is zeal for your house that consumes me.
I am being swallowed whole by the not me of sea.

When I humbled my soul with asceticism
they said it wasn't necessary for skepticism.

What I did not steal must I now restore?
Can I stop the carnage of the boarhound to the boar?

The wrongs I have done are not hidden from truth.
When only wrongs are counted, truth isn't true.

I have become a stranger to my kin.
I became an alien to that which I had been.

Will I become a byline for the evening news?
Sometimes when you win you lose.

Death became a naughty tease.
He was like a lover that could not be pleased.
He beckoned lightly in the dark.
He was as strong as he was stark.

He promised relief from pain and desperation.
It was like my soul could choose separation.

Insults have broken my heart.
Does this brokenness allow for another start?

It is for your sake that I have born reproach.
This is the time that I become my own ardent coach.

My prayer is for salvation.
Liberation will be my libation.

Rescue me from the tow
that seeks to sink me below.

Do not let the deep swallow me whole.
I got this sudden feeling. I might want to learn to bowl.

Draw near to me. Blessed shore!
You are the newest promise for all that I adore.

Freedom from the current's tow,
release me from the need to know.

Wash me up on the bed of land.
I cannot walk. I cannot stand.

I look for pity like a dog looks for a bone.
I look to share but I am all alone.

I look for comfort in what is now unknown.
No one appears. I feel cold as stone.

I leave perception in the harsh night air.
I lose my sight. I don't care.

Salvation saved my soul from separation
but I have no strength. There is only the lack of desperation.

I feel so cold.
Will I live until I grow old?

Psalm 69
To the leader: according to Lilies. Of David.

1 Save me, O God,
   for the waters have come up to my neck.
2 I sink in deep mire,
   where there is no foothold;
I have come into deep waters,
   and the flood sweeps over me.
3 I am weary with my crying;
   my throat is parched.
My eyes grow dim
   with waiting for my God.
4 More in number than the hairs of my head
   are those who hate me without cause;
many are those who would destroy me,
   my enemies who accuse me falsely.
What I did not steal
   must I now restore?
5 O God, you know my folly;
   the wrongs I have done are not hidden from you.
Do not let those who hope in you be put to shame because of me,
   O Lord God of hosts;
do not let those who seek you be dishonoured because of me,
   O God of Israel.
7 It is for your sake that I have borne reproach,
   that shame has covered my face.
8 I have become a stranger to my kindred,
   an alien to my mother’s children.

9 It is zeal for your house that has consumed me;
   the insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.
10 When I humbled my soul with fasting,*
   they insulted me for doing so.
11 When I made sackcloth my clothing,
   I became a byword to them.
12 I am the subject of gossip for those who sit in the gate,
   and the drunkards make songs about me.

13 But as for me, my prayer is to you, O Lord.
   At an acceptable time, O God,
   in the abundance of your steadfast love, answer me.
With your faithful help 14rescue me
With your faithful help 14rescue me
   from sinking in the mire;
let me be delivered from my enemies
   and from the deep waters.
15 Do not let the flood sweep over me,
   or the deep swallow me up,
   or the Pit close its mouth over me.
16 Answer me, O Lord, for your steadfast love is good;
   according to your abundant mercy, turn to me.
17 Do not hide your face from your servant,
   for I am in distress—make haste to answer me.
18 Draw near to me, redeem me,
   set me free because of my enemies.
19 You know the insults I receive,
   and my shame and dishonour;
   my foes are all known to you.
20 Insults have broken my heart,
   so that I am in despair.
I looked for pity, but there was none;
   and for comforters, but I found none.

Kristin Kreuk:
CBC Series

Thank you for what is right
about experiment.

It's fair, not bent. It's not a sacrament.
The element tells you how it's intelligent.

The exploration
of experience for truth
with liberty and justice
is informed
by the exercise in ruling out
that which is false.

Truth calls for walls.
Boundaries stall the thrall
for a new ball.

Government is an exploration
in leadership for law.

It's not a claw
for misdirection by the punishment flaw.

Industry produces products
and services for use.

Media is not the muse for abuse.
The news is not a noose.
Does the public have to read between the lies
to find truth?

Community evaluates claims
about law, products and services.

Skepticism provides
the ground to test without appearing nervous.

Relationship builds trust with

Trust constructs social agility.

Know that we are products
who participate in production
by design.

We have personal and collective mind.
It's how we see what is good in time.

We have been made
and we are in the making.
We have been produced
and we are in production.

Logic uses reduction and construction.
Reason uses measure for deduction or induction.

Time gauges truth
for leadership into what is right
for the future based on what has
worked in the past for goodness.

There are times when doing what we should is best.

When the deer depart for shelter
in the heart of darkness, the turkeys
stay near what is dear about the home.

Thanksgiving is shown
in relation to the convenience for what's known.

You are not alone in the struggle
for survival.

Progress has been made by building consensus
with revival.

Rejoice for your part
in the art of working out salvation.
Safety and health are good for anyone.

Enter the gates for redemption
with thanksgiving.
Gratitude benefits the living.

Move into the courtyard
dancing and singing with praise
for the rays that save.

Set the sighs aside for the grave.

Thank you for what is right
about experiment.
The elements speak truth
to intelligence.

100 Jubilate Deo

1 Be joyful in the Lord, all you lands; *
serve the Lord with gladness
and come before his presence with a song.

2 Know this: The Lord himself is God; *
he himself has made us, and we are his;
we are his people and the sheep of his pasture.
3 Enter his gates with thanksgiving;
go into his courts with praise; *
give thanks to him and call upon his Name.

4 For the Lord is good;
his mercy is everlasting; *
and his faithfulness endures from age to age.

Morning Musume – Hello Project

Salvation comes by faith.
Redemption is achieved with grace.

Liberty in the law
is that which preserves our awe.

Justice is the goal for all.
The goal must be fulfilled for those who call.

Cruelty in punishment does not correct violence in crime.
Detention is for the correction of injustice in time.

The law is for civil and human rights.
Equity is for economic delight.

Rights are for life, liberty and happiness.
Extension reaches from east to west.

You are the designer for paradise.
Your majesty is infused in each device.

Praise is raised from infants and the old.
It is raised for life from the timid to the bold.

You have set up a stronghold for our defense.
Safety and good health are our protection at length.

When I consider heaven and earth as your creation
I am filled with wonder at each new sensation.

The planets orbit the sun with the law of gravity.
Galaxies move from a point in space as the ground for sanity.

Space is the place for the containment of time.
Matter and energy are forms that transcend mind.

What is being that you are mindful of us?
An authentic person expresses your trust.

You have made us a little lower than angels.
We are adorned with honor by the life of our cells.

The preservation of nature is our responsibility.
Flora and fauna are food for thought in our ability.

The construction of constructs,
and the production of products
are for merit in our conduct.

The organization of order
provides protection for our borders.

It is your name that is exalted.
Your fame will not be halted.

You are the designer of paradise.
Your majesty is infused in each device.

1Lord, our Sovereign,
   how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory above the heavens.
2   Out of the mouths of babes and infants
you have founded a bulwark because of your foes,
   to silence the enemy and the avenger.

3 When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers,
   the moon and the stars that you have established;
4 what are human beings that you are mindful of them,
* that you care for them?
5 Yet you have made them a little lower than God,*
   and crowned them with glory and honour.
6 You have given them dominion over the works of your hands;
   you have put all things under their feet,
7 all sheep and oxen,
   and also the beasts of the field,
8 the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea,
   whatever passes along the paths of the seas.
9Lord, our Sovereign,
   how majestic is your name in all the earth!

Maimi Yajima:  *C-ute Final Season

Dezain o mitsukeru

The universe is infused with design.
There is that out there which is not mine.

Intervention is achieved by faith.
Goodness aspires to that which is great.

If I could just touch the essence of my face
I could fix the brokenness that made such disgrace.

Outside it’s like I’m someone else.
I adjust the size to fit my belt.

Silence is the source for sound.
It resonates from all around.
I save the memory of the knowledge found.

Constancy is found in the stability of substance.
Improvement is made by adjustment.

Cause is the catalyst for change.
There is something that makes matter rearrange.

The building is built upon the foundation.
Extension gives walls for our protection.

Strength makes it a shelter
from the swelter
or the helter skelter.

The sea has living things both small and large.
The creatures swim under boat or barge.

There are the minnows
moving like the wind through the willows.

There is the whale.
It’s not just the tail.

There are the ships.
Shape and weight prevent tips and rips.

All of them look for providence in due season.
The Provider provides with good reason.

You give.
They live.

Design is discovered.
Love is felt with wonder.

They are filled with good things.
Music with glad tiding rings.

The earth trembles with joy.
The mountain dances like a toy.

The volcano explodes with delight.
It gives the world an awesome sight.

When your face is hidden
fear, like a horse, is ridden.

When life is taken
is death mistaken?

The soul slips away.
The spirit is stripped to stay.
The body decays with delay.

The Source sends spirit.
Creation happens in it.

The earth is renewed.
The glory is due.

Rejoice in the goodness of design.
The goodness is yours. It is mine.

I will sing with faith as long as I live.
I will praise life while I have being to give.

May these words of mine
be as pleasing as grapes from the vine.

The precious presence
of the Divine essence
is present for your senses
to divine.

Yeah Yah!

Yonder is the sea, great and wide,
   creeping things innumerable are there,
   living things both small and great.
26 There go the ships,
   and Leviathan that you formed to sport in it.
27 These all look to you
   to give them their food in due season;
28 when you give to them, they gather it up;
   when you open your hand, they are filled with good things.
29 When you hide your face, they are dismayed;
   when you take away their breath, they die
   and return to their dust.
30 When you send forth your spirit,* they are created;
   and you renew the face of the ground.

31 May the glory of the Lord endure for ever;
   may the Lord rejoice in his works—
32 who looks on the earth and it trembles,
   who touches the mountains and they smoke.
33 I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
   I will sing praise to my God while I have being.
34 May my meditation be pleasing to him,
   for I rejoice in the Lord.
35 Let sinners be consumed from the earth,
   and let the wicked be no more.
Bless the Lord, O my soul.
