Have

Happy Birthday!
Keri Russell

Mercy

Mercy

Endures
慈悲は耐えます
Jihi wa taemasu
ps.118

Give thanks for goodness.
Gratitude endures forever.

Let the opposition proclaim,
"Mercy endures."

Let experience declare,
"Mercy endures."

Let intelligence state,
"Mercy endures."

I called for help in my distress.
I was delivered. I was set free.

Love is on my side.
What can anyone do to me?

Defense was there to help me.
I will triumph over hatred.

It is better to rely on that which
is worthy of trust, than to invest
in profit from violence.

Temptation sought my conscription.
Ungodliness had me surrounded.
I was hemmed in. I had been hemmed in
on every side.

I repelled temptation. I will repel
the urge to support destruction for oppression
from the threat of damage or death.

Harmful impulses swarmed about me like bees.
They raged against me like fire from thorns.

I will repel them. It is my responsibility.
I was pressed so hard. I was crucified,
but faith in love delivered me.

Love is my strength and my song.
Faith has become my salvation.

There is the sound of victory
in the tents of our exultation.

Liberty in the law has triumphed!
Justice is exalted!

I will not die. I will live
to declare the work of salvation.

I had been punished severely,
but I was not handed over to death.

Open the gates to righteousness.
I will enter. I will offer thanks
for deliverance.

"This is the gateway to love.
Righteousness by faith is welcome."

I will give thanks because I was answered.
I experienced the joy of salvation.

The stone which the builders had rejected
has become the chief cornerstone.

This is deliverance by design.
It is marvelous. It is wondrous in our eyes.

Defense has acted on this day!
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
 Say "Yes" to this success!

Blessed are those who come in the name of love.
We bless you from this house for peace.

God is our Leader. The love of peace
has shined upon us. Form a procession
with palms raised to the alter for thanks.

"You are my God. I will thank you.
You are our Leadership. We will exalt you."

Give thanks to our Leader.
She is good. Her mercy endures
for us.

118 Confitemini Domino
1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; *
his mercy endures for ever.
2 Let Israel now proclaim, *
"His mercy endures for ever."
3 Let the house of Aaron now proclaim, *
"His mercy endures for ever."
4 Let those who fear the Lord now proclaim, *
"His mercy endures for ever."
5 I called to the Lord in my distress; *
the Lord answered by setting me free.
6 The Lord is at my side, therefore I will not fear; *
what can anyone do to me?
7 The Lord is at my side to help me; *
I will triumph over those who hate me.
8 It is better to rely on the Lord *
than to put any trust in flesh.
9 It is better to rely on the Lord *
than to put any trust in rulers.
10 All the ungodly encompass me; *
in the name of the Lord I will repel them.
11 They hem me in, they hem me in on every side; *
in the name of the Lord I will repel them.
12 They swarm about me like bees;
they blaze like a fire of thorns; *
in the name of the Lord I will repel them.
13 I was pressed so hard that I almost fell, *
but the Lord came to my help.
14 The Lord is my strength and my song, *
and he has become my salvation.
15 There is a sound of exultation and victory *
in the tents of the righteous:
16 "The right hand of the Lord has triumphed! *
the right hand of the Lord is exalted!
the right hand of the Lord has triumphed!"
17 I shall not die, but live, *
and declare the works of the Lord.
18 The Lord has punished me sorely, *
but he did not hand me over to death.
19 Open for me the gates of righteousness; *
I will enter them;
I will offer thanks to the Lord.
20 "This is the gate of the Lord; *
he who is righteous may enter."
21 I will give thanks to you, for you answered me *
and have become my salvation.
22 The same stone which the builders rejected *
has become the chief cornerstone.
23 This is the Lord's doing, *
and it is marvelous in our eyes.
24 On this day the Lord has acted; *
we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25 Hosannah, Lord, hosannah! *
Lord, send us now success.
26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord; *
we bless you from the house of the Lord.
27 God is the Lord; he has shined upon us; *
form a procession with branches up to the horns of the altar.
28 "You are my God, and I will thank you; *
you are my God, and I will exalt you."
29 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; *
his mercy endures for ever.

Be

Charisma Carpenter: Surviving Evil

Be
Kind
優しくします
Yasashiku shimasu
ps.31:9-16

Be nice to me.
I am in distress.

My eyes are worn by the trail of tears.
My soul is bent with grief.

My life is spent in sorrow;
my years with sighing.

My strength fails
because of misery.

My bones waste away.
I am the scorn of adversity
born by adversaries. I am the target
of terror for advocates of violence;
an object of dread for the brief
in acquaintance; who exploit
the appearance of loss
for the illusion of conquest.

Those who see what has been done
flee from me in the streets.
I have been pressed
from my mind as one
who has died. The vessel
for my essence has been bent
but not broken.

Whispers whirl like twisters
spreading fear with their sound.

They seem to scheme against me.
They threaten to take my life.

I put my trust in your salvation.
You are my deliverance.

My time is in your hands.
Deliver me from the enemies
who persecute me.

Let your love shine
through my face.

Save me with your energy
through my hands.

Restore

Sandra Bullock: "Minions"

Restore
Respect
敬意を復元
Keii o fukugen
ps126

When Voting and Civil Rights were enacted
we were living the dream.

The air was filled with laughter.
Our mouths raised shouts of joy.

They said among the nations,
"The rule of law has done
great things for them."

The law has done great things for us.
We celebrate our rights, but recognize our wrong.

Those who profit from the promotion of violence
use war and the death penalty to override
the law against murder.

They deceive us with their stories.
They target groups and areas for attack.

They kill people and destroy property
to sell more of their products for destruction.
We are taxed for damage and repairs.

We are charged higher prices to compete
with the plutocrats that exploit us
with their taxation. We are oppressed
by the risk of forcing governments
to change, while ours has reduced
representation to help the one who
seeks to profit most
from our oppression.

We need redemption.

Let the restoration of rights

flow like the raging rush of water
to the sea.

Those who sowed hope with sweat

will reap songs of progress with joy.

Those who labor despite lamentation,

will share profit from the productivity
of their production.

126 In convertendo

1 When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, *
then were we like those who dream.
2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, *
and our tongue with shouts of joy.
3 Then they said among the nations, *
"The Lord has done great things for them."
4 The Lord has done great things for us, *
and we are glad indeed.
5 Restore our fortunes, O Lord, *
like the watercourses of the Negev.
6 Those who sowed with tears *
will reap with songs of joy.
7 Those who go out weeping, carrying the seed, *
will come again with joy, shouldering their sheaves.

Feel

Demi Lovato: Summer 2016

Feel
Gratitude
感謝の気持ちを感じます
Kanshanokimochi o kanjimasu
ps32

Innocent are those to whom guilt
has not been imparted; whose spirit
does not covet guile.

Grateful are those who are forgiven;
whose fault is put away.

My bones groaned when I held my toungue.
I felt depressed from being oppressed.

The weight of judgment
weighed heavily upon me;
my moisture dried up as in heat.

Then I admit my guilt.
I said, "I confess. I was in error."
I no longer feel the weight of that burden.
I feel forgiven for that which was wrong.

Now I walk with faith in times of trouble.
I unit with those who are right,
but disagree with causing strife by blight.
Great waters do not reach
the faithful in a flood.

You are my deliverance; my hiding place;
my preservation from trouble; you surround
me with shouts for relief.

"I will instruct you. You will learn.
I will guide you by design.

"Do not act as though you have no understanding.
Use knowledge with instinct."

Tribulations are for those who are not forgiven;
but mercy embraces those with trust.

Rejoice you who are grateful.
Sing with joy, all you who are true of heart.

Justice without cruelty or violence
will be embraced by society.

Social progress will be supported
by economic organization.

32 Beati quorum

1 Happy are they whose transgressions are forgiven, *
and whose sin is put away!
2 Happy are they to whom the Lord imputes no guilt, *
and in whose spirit there is no guile!
3 While I held my tongue, my bones withered away, *
because of my groaning all day long.
4 For your hand was heavy upon me day and night; *
my moisture was dried up as in the heat of summer.
5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you, *
and did not conceal my guilt.
6 I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the Lord." *
Then you forgave me the guilt of my sin.
7 Therefore all the faithful will make their prayers to you in
time of trouble; *
when the great waters overflow, they shall not reach them.
8 You are my hiding-place;
you preserve me from trouble; *
you surround me with shouts of deliverance.
9 "I will instruct you and teach you in the way that you
should go; *
I will guide you with my eye.
10 Do not be like horse or mule, which have no understanding; *
who must be fitted with bit and bridle,
or else they will not stay near you."
11 Great are the tribulations of the wicked; *
but mercy embraces those who trust in the Lord.
12 Be glad, you righteous, and rejoice in the Lord; *
shout for joy, all who are true of heart.
