Thirst

Rhona Mitra: Points of Interest

Thirst
for Love
愛の渇き
Ainokawaki
ps63

Life! You are my life.
Eagerly I go after you.

My soul thirsts for you.
My flesh longs for you
as in a barren land
where there is no water.

I have gazed upon you
in the sacred space
of this holy place
to behold your power
and glory.

Your love
will be remembered
with gratitude. That which
was not necessary will be forgotten.

My lips will praise you.
I will lift up my hands
to give thanks for you
as long as I live.

My soul is content
as with the marrow
from the bones
of my belief.

My mouth praises you
with the gravy of gratitude
when I remember you in the night
after the day's latitude.

You have been my helper.
I look to you for improvement.
My soul seeks shelter
under your wings during
the turbulence of trials
that threaten to blow
me away.

I will suck the marrow
from the bones of this life
to overcome strife.

63 Deus, Deus meus

1 O God, you are my God; eagerly I seek you; *
my soul thirsts for you, my flesh faints for you,
as in a barren and dry land where there is no water.
2 Therefore I have gazed upon you in your holy place, *
that I might behold your power and your glory.
3 For your loving-kindness is better than life itself; *
my lips shall give you praise.
4 So will I bless you as long as I live *
and lift up my hands in your Name.
5 My soul is content, as with marrow and fatness, *
and my mouth praises you with joyful lips,
6 When I remember you upon my bed, *
and meditate on you in the night watches.
7 For you have been my helper, *
and under the shadow of your wings I will rejoice.
8 My soul clings to you; *
your right hand holds me fast.

Seek

Seek perfection

Find completion.

Olivia Munn: Sci-Tech Awards

Seek
Perfection
完璧を求めます
Kanpeki o motomemasu
ps27

Seek perfection for completion.
Will I ever lack something to do?

Illumination is the light for my salvation.
What is there to fear?

Knowledge is the path to health.
What do I need to know?

Health is the wealth for happiness.
How am I to find health for balance
in the body and mind?

When unseen pathogens were not known
to be the cause of disease, people were falsely
identified as the cause of plague.

How much life was wasted in the effort
to eliminate a threat by killing a false cause?

Though the errors of history may stack up
against me, I will not make the same mistake.

Though war may rise up to exploit me
to kill others as though they were the enemy,
I will not agree to murder.

Though prices may be raised to convince me that
war is good for the economy, I will disagree.

I have asked for one thing from life.
One thing I seek. I seek perfection
for happiness; beauty for gratitude;
the design for being in time.

It will keep me happy
for all the days of my life.

Refinement reduces frustration
and keeps the mind on task
for sufficiency in production.

Happiness grows with the gratitification
of seeing quality as a result of discovering
the best that can be found with grace
in the investigation of creation.

I will be kept safe in sage advice.
It will protect me in the day of trouble.

i will dwell in the safety of security
whether it be hidden in the secrecy of shadows
or situated on the heighth of stable structure.

Even now, my head is lifted above the danger
that confounds me and the threat
that often surrounds me.

Thus, I will give oblation and libation
with the sensation of great sound
in the sanctity of this soul
filled serenity.

I will sing and make music for thanksgiving
in the art of this structure.

Listen to my voice. Hear me when I call.
Have mercy and answer me.

The self says to my heart,
"Seek my face."
I will seek your face.
it is love for others that helps me
to respect myself.

Do not hide from me.
Do not turn from me
in displeasure.

You have been my helper.
Do not cast me away.

Logic for life will protect me
from personal attack, but
your support is welcome.

Help me to find the reason
for my design in time.

Show me the level path
because claims for absolute power
are too high or too low.

Do not deliver me into the hands of cruelty
or into the devices of those
who promote violence for profit.

False witnesses bear testimony that discredits
their credibility. They have to be corrected
with truth for liberty with justice for all.

What if I had not believed in goodness
in the land for the living? Work for happiness
in the pursuit of perfection. Otherwise,
the goal becomes another pretension
in the claim to power. You will be comforted
if you wait for your heart's desire.

27 Dominus illuminatio

1 The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom then shall I fear? *
the Lord is the strength of my life;
of whom then shall I be afraid?
2 When evildoers came upon me to eat up my flesh, *
it was they, my foes and my adversaries, who
stumbled and fell.
3 Though an army should encamp against me, *
yet my heart shall not be afraid;
4 And though war should rise up against me, *
yet will I put my trust in him.
5 One thing have I asked of the Lord;
one thing I seek; *
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life;
6 To behold the fair beauty of the Lord *
and to seek him in his temple.
7 For in the day of trouble he shall keep me safe in his shelter; *
he shall hide me in the secrecy of his dwelling
and set me high upon a rock.
8 Even now he lifts up my head *
above my enemies round about me.
9 Therefore I will offer in his dwelling an oblation
with sounds of great gladness; *
I will sing and make music to the Lord.
10 Hearken to my voice, O Lord, when I call; *
have mercy on me and answer me.
11 You speak in my heart and say, "Seek my face." *
Your face, Lord, will I seek.
12 Hide not your face from me, *
nor turn away your servant in displeasure.
13 You have been my helper;
cast me not away; *
do not forsake me, O God of my salvation.
14 Though my father and my mother forsake me, *
the Lord will sustain me.
15 Show me your way, O Lord; *
lead me on a level path, because of my enemies.
16 Deliver me not into the hand of my adversaries, *
for false witnesses have risen up against me,
and also those who speak malice.
17 What if I had not believed
that I should see the goodness of the Lord *
in the land of the living!
18 O tarry and await the Lord's pleasure;
be strong, and he shall comfort your heart; *
wait patiently for the Lord.

Dwell

Happy Valentine's Day!

Daisy Ridley: The Force Awakens

Dwell
Well
よく住みます
Yoku sumimasu
ps91

Dwell well for life.

Whatever begins to exist has a cause.
The universe began to exist.
The universe has a cause.

Nothing greater can be conceived
than the Most High.

War is not the greatest good
for society. It is organized murder.

Profit from the production
of violence is the greatest
financial crime of all time.

It is not sanctioned by law.
It is not the order for economy.

Law against murder, violence, cruelty
and slavery is natural. It protects
legal commerce.  The rule of law
defends rights for people.

Act only in a way that you can will
for others as law. Behavior that
is legal and ethical is moral.

Morality makes statements
for personal and social benefit.
Maxims produce responsible care.

God is greater in reality
than in the imagination.

Whoever dwells in the shelter
of the Most High abides in the protection
of the Almighty.

She will say, "You are my refuge
and my defense, the God
in whom I trust."

She will be delivered from abuse
and deadly pestilence.

She will be covered
with the warmth of feathers
near the heart of her protection.

Faithfulness will be her bastion;
her boundary, a barrier for safety.

She will not be petrified
by horror in the night
or terror in the light of day.

She will not be haunted
by the cold darkness of plague
or the fevered sickness that lays waste
any time of the day.

Millions will stand by her side.
Billions will be for her rights.
The right to life will protect
her existence.

Her eyes will behold mercy
as the reward for the merciful.

No evil will assail her. No pandemic
will cause pandemonium for her.

Her friends will be angels. They will help
her in the rightness of ways. They will catch
her when she stumbles to prevent injury
from the fall.

She will walk with courage like a lioness
who shows caution near snakes.

She will be delivered from harm
because she is bound to the power of love.

She will prevent the promotion of violence
for profit from domination
by terror from tyranny.

She will be answered when she calls for help.
She will be rescued and brought to honor.
She will be satisfied with life.

Salvation will be shown to her.
Perfection as a goal provides protection
from insufficient performance as a standard.

The experience of perfect being however
is not something that has escaped reality.

We know what it is to respect rights. We
know that respect for rights is the
ontological basis for law.

91 Qui habitat

1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High, *
abides under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 He shall say to the Lord,
"You are my refuge and my stronghold, *
my God in whom I put my trust."
3 He shall deliver you from the snare of the hunter *
and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with his pinions,
and you shall find refuge under his wings; *
his faithfulness shall be a shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of any terror by night, *
nor of the arrow that flies by day;
6 Of the plague that stalks in the darkness, *
nor of the sickness that lays waste at mid-day.
7 A thousand shall fall at your side
and ten thousand at your right hand, *
but it shall not come near you.
8 Your eyes have only to behold *
to see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge, *
and the Most High your habitation,
10 There shall no evil happen to you, *
neither shall any plague come near your dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over you, *
to keep you in all your ways.
12 They shall bear you in their hands, *
lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and adder; *
you shall trample the young lion and the serpent under your feet.
14 Because he is bound to me in love,
therefore will I deliver him; *
I will protect him, because he knows my Name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; *
I am with him in trouble;
I will rescue him and bring him to honor.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, *
and show him my salvation.

The ontological argument asserts that God
is greater in reality than in the imagination.
Humanly speaking, the argument posits
reflection on perfect being as a means
for escaping plutocracy as 'the way things
get done.'

A politician's responsibility is to
represent rights for the people in a country
with law according to the natural order,
not a fictively destructive reduction
to the power of death over life.

Historically, political 'leadership' has defaulted
to using the threat of death to impose unfair
advantage on society for the benefit of a select
number from the population.

The difficulty with the ontological argument
lies not only in misuse for the reduction of power
to death over life, it also lies in the reduction of social
to personal authority.

It's not like people don't
have responsibility that falls into the province
of personal decision. A single person however
does not have the right to reduce rights
for others to his or her choice
for personal profit irrespective
of harm caused to others.

Win

David Duchovny & Gillian Anderson: The Fans Are Still Out There

Win
Direction.
勝つ方向
Katsu Hoko
ps99

Win the detection of direction.

Who wins what, when?
Let the people assemble
to organize for public benefit.

What wins when for how many?
Consider the future for our children.

The right to life reduces strife.
It is the first principle for the rule of law.
The confession of profession decreases tension.

It is awesome to declare your own path; to proclaim
the detection of your direction with the help of instruction
is not an infection or an insurrection. It is affection
for the people with whom you will work.

O mighty lover of equity, you have established
justice as the goal for law in society.

Competition has helped to develop affinity for direction.
If you don't like the contest, you can find another area
to work as your arena.

Proclaim the greatness of your faith.
Stay with that which is right about your choices.

Don't hold on to the error of false beliefs.
Delusion prevents learning from false statements.

Education looks for other affirmations to test.
Inference and deduction are tools for reason.
Observation tests knowledge for perspective.
Assimilation re-structures and adjusts
paradigms for new information.

Reason speaks through each season.

The awesome stretch of the tornado's
towering pillar of power tells us
about atmospheric disturbance
of cloud.

The raging sage is in time but,
outside of imagined mind. It is caused
by the change in temperature from coldness
to warmth. Our behavior has to adjust
to the season for our protection.

We are not being told to destroy other people
as a threat to our security. We are being directed
to build better shelters with plans for protection
based on knowledge known for our safety.

When we lived in the wilderness the pathways
of destruction were observed and avoided.

The land said something about the path
for the great spiral's pillage. Nooks and crannies
among rocks, in ditches or in places away
from the destruction provided
refuge from the storm.

Now we have radar vision
and meters for electronic measure to tell us
when we have to go out there to watch
for the funnel cloud as destroyer.

When shelter won't work,
escape to safer ground will.

Insight is our height. Height still lends perspective
regarding the lay of the land, but insight gives us wings
for flight or cover for our protection.

Organization for safety from the destructiveness
of the elements is our greatest protection,
but salvation is the resurrection
of good goals in political direction.

99 Dominus regnavit

1 The Lord is King;
let the people tremble; *
he is enthroned upon the cherubim;
let the earth shake.
2 The Lord is great in Zion; *
he is high above all peoples.
3 Let them confess his Name, which is great and awesome; *
he is the Holy One.
4 "O mighty King, lover of justice,
you have established equity; *
you have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob."
5 Proclaim the greatness of the Lord our God
and fall down before his footstool; *
he is the Holy One.
6 Moses and Aaron among his priests,
and Samuel among those who call upon his Name, *
they called upon the Lord, and he answered them.
7 He spoke to them out of the pillar of cloud; *
they kept his testimonies and the decree that he gave them.
8 "O Lord our God, you answered them indeed; *
you were a God who forgave them,
yet punished them for their evil deeds."
9 Proclaim the greatness of the Lord our God
and worship him upon his holy hill; *
for the Lord our God is the Holy One.
