Ascribe the properties of energy to power
and the creation of power to the cause.

Energy is the ability for a system to work.

Flip a switch and the power comes on.
The machine can operate in accord
with design.

A storm system crackles with power.
Lightning flashes. The flash cracks.
Energy is transferred from the cloud
to the ground.

Energy can be transferred, converted
and measured. Whether it is transferred
or converted, it conserves the same measure.

The constraints for the properties
develop the forms for design. Design
allows for variation in expansion,
form and function.

Growth in populations
can be exponential. The proportions
for this growth are expressed as exponents.

Exponents express proportion in size.
These powers also describe variance in curves.

Size is part of being something.
Change is becoming different.

Being is the beginning of soul;
soul, the mirror for life.

Living is the first right for all in the law.

The flash of lightning shows
wonder in darkness before thunder.

Light sees instant weightless motion
as spirit with speed.

Spirit sings sound
as the crack breaks
the back of the somber stillness
behind the roaring downpour of rain.

The voice of thunder rumbles
across the sky with the wind
under the clouds.

Hills are moved by walls of water.
The mountain is consumed
by the creation of clouds.

The voice of power is strong.
She sings loud and long
for the splendor of fighting
her wrongs.

Her song breaks the heart
of the redwood, the tree
that could not be broken.

All are crying “Have mercy”
on this temple of soul.

The power of creation
permeates life in time.

Fresh water is supplied
for storage. The air
has been cleansed
for breath in life.

Plants grow strong
for consumption.

Life lives
with gratitude
for providence.

Momma Cat.

Afferte Domino

1 Ascribe to the Lord, you gods, *
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.

2 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his Name; *
worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

3 The voice of the Lord is upon the waters;
the God of glory thunders; *
the Lord is upon the mighty waters.

4 The voice of the Lord is a powerful voice; *
the voice of the Lord is a voice of splendor.

5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedar trees; *
the Lord breaks the cedars of Lebanon;

6 He makes Lebanon skip like a calf, *
and Mount Hermon like a young wild ox.

7 The voice of the Lord splits the flames of fire;
the voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; *
the Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.

8 The voice of the Lord makes the oak trees writhe *
and strips the forests bare.

9 And in the temple of the Lord *
all are crying, "Glory!"

10 The Lord sits enthroned above the flood; *
the Lord sits enthroned as King for evermore.
11 The Lord shall give strength to his people; *
the Lord shall give his people the blessing of peace.

Profundis

Thoughts from the Fishbowl
Mundi

The Depths of the World

世界の深さ
Sekai no Fuka-sa

The world is filled with fluid shapes.
Muffled sound bounces round;
consumed by the dissipated
ground for languid liquid stasis.

A dark form pushes a paw
inside my law; testing for life
inside the wetness. Licks lap
heaven with many taps
to test lest thirst
sharpen hunger
for my burst
of thunder.

I see that my sight
does not perceive light outside
the sphere of perception
for my world, but
I believe that intuition
based on experience extends
beyond my extension
of pretension regarding
the breadth for existence.

I can hear sound bounce off
the roof of the world, but salvation
calls for civility in survival. What
movements preserve dignity
for existence?

Reason orders knowledge
for the experience of law
in the struggle for survival
based on testable methods
for discovery by experiment.

Grace sanctions faith with love
for the dove in the search
for the idea of order.

The dove builds her home
in a community with a place
in space. The crow goes where
food is to be found without having
to kill. Predators roam to the place
their prey considers home. Killing
is just for the necessary convenience
of sustenance.

Even predators do not kill
their own kind by design.
Death occurs at random
while defending turf.

The terms for engagement
are arranged by defense.

War is a whore for profit.

If condemnation were reserved
for every error, who could stand?
Forgiveness is forged by mercy
for the merciful.

Condemnation
considers violent crime
or cruel oppression as a
cause for correction
by incarceration;
not destruction
of the person
as the cause.

Objective personal perspective
is for our non-discriminatory social view.
Justice is for the improvement of the world.

I have called for salvation
as civility in social relations
despite the struggle for survival.
The call came from the depths
of my soul in the safety
of my home.

I requested dignity
from deep in the heart
of the world. The request
came from the quest for the best
as derived from the test
in the context of the contest.

My soul longs for love
more than darkness
waits for dawn;
more than Mars
declares glory
for the morning.

Faith in love is my redemption.

Ps.130

1 Out of the depths have I called to you, O Lord;
Lord, hear my voice; *
let your ears consider well the voice of my supplication.

2 If you, Lord, were to note what is done amiss, *
O Lord, who could stand?

3 For there is forgiveness with you; *
therefore you shall be feared.
4 I wait for the Lord; my soul waits for him; *
in his word is my hope.

5 My soul waits for the Lord,
more than watchmen for the morning, *
more than watchmen for the morning.

6 O Israel, wait for the Lord, *
for with the Lord there is mercy;

7 With him there is plenteous redemption, *
and he shall redeem Israel from all their sins

Happiness

幸せ

Shiawase

from Ps.1

The right to vote makes a republic democratic.

The power to declare war has been used to undermine
rights since the inception of the conception.

Plutocracy undermines democracy
more than any other power.

When war is declared or enacted in fact,
rights are diminished beyond recognition.

When the death penalty is used
to institute genocide,
justice is pushed out
of the legal system.

Racism is bad; sexism as well.
Sectarian religion promotes strife,
but plutocracy is the worst.
It takes money from everybody
and gives it to those who need it least.

Morality has declared plutocracy illegal.
War has to be outlawed to preserve
the representation of rights.

The death penalty has to be abolished
to protect justice in the legal system.

Rights are the fruit of power.
Power is the product of labor.

We pay for government with our taxes.
We have the right to free trade
with prosperity. We have the right
to liberty in the law with justice.

Happy are those who do not choose
the will to power over others.

Happy are those who do not use
the threat of death or damage
to make a profit.

We delight in moral law.
Scientific goodness as defined by needs
leads perception into objective perspective.

Personal perspective goes gonzo
when prejudice drives action
into discrimination, but happiness
rules when objectivity values virtue.

We are like trees planted by the water.
We bear fruit in due season. Our leaves
do not wither. We prosper
with achievement in performance.

Our legacy will not be blown away
like chaff in the wind. Judgment
will have mercy for the merciful.

Fortune will favor the mind
that prepares a place for love
in time.

Ps.1

1 Happy are they who have not walked in the counsel of
the wicked, *
nor lingered in the way of sinners,
nor sat in the seats of the scornful!

2 Their delight is in the law of the Lord, *
and they meditate on his law day and night.

3 They are like trees planted by streams of water,
bearing fruit in due season, with leaves that do not wither; *
everything they do shall prosper.

4 It is not so with the wicked; *
they are like chaff which the wind blows away.

5 Therefore the wicked shall not stand upright when
judgment comes, *
nor the sinner in the council of the righteous.

6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, *
but the way of the wicked is doomed.

Courage
勇気
Yuki
from Ps.98

The sky was so high,
the air took my breath away.

Giant planets cruised along
the astral highway.

Crying for lying,
the milk moon shone gray
this May. The atmosphere betrayed
the time for a new song.

The old song had been going on
for so long it was killing the lawn.
No growth? No green to be seen
for the fawn.

The Nemean Lion is homicidal intent
for the hero who is bent on making rent.
The mission maker’s impenetrable hide
is not plebian for kingdom, republic
or any side.

It protects the ‘right’ to take money
for the security of advantage
for the wealthiest kind.

The fangs do not rise as missiles against lies.
The missiles fly against the right to life
in any size. Sigh.

Leo is sighing for all that is spent
to make it look like the war against peace
is meant to win strategic advantage
with courage for ascent.

Care for the poor
provides victory for more
than pandering for war.

Mercy evokes memory
with desire for emulation.
Cruelty imposes damage
on the sensation of elation
for justice.

Violence shows others
how not to behave
for the nation.

Misperception requires
the correction of affection
for deception.

Faithfulness earns honor.
Honor with honesty
sanctifies reward.

A world betrayed
by deception for profit
from violence honors
truth for justice
by non-violence
more than the motive
for betrayal.

Let your labor sing.
It’s your music.
You choose it.
Don’t lose it.

Sing for freedom
with justice. There
is no greater love.
It is the foundation
for morality.

Ps. 98

1 Sing to the Lord a new song, *
for he has done marvelous things.
2 With his right hand and his holy arm *
has he won for himself the victory.

3 The Lord has made known his victory; *
his righteousness has he openly shown in the sight of the nations.

4 He remembers his mercy and faithfulness to the house of Israel, *
and all the ends of the earth have seen the victory of our God.

5 Shout with joy to the Lord, all you lands; *
lift up your voice, rejoice, and sing.

6 Sing to the Lord with the harp, *
with the harp and the voice of song.

7 With trumpets and the sound of the horn *
shout with joy before the King, the Lord.

8 Let the sea make a noise and all that is in it, *
the lands and those who dwell therein.

Celebrate

Rosario Dawson as Laura Vasquez in MIB2
Love
  from Ps.22

Joy is praise for life.

My praise is for joy
in the assembly of people.

I will celebrate life in the presence
of those who assemble for love.

The poor will eat and be satisfied.
Those who share providence will share
the satisfaction. Those who seek love
will raise praise, “May your heart
dare to care for others.”

Gratification will be remembered
to the ends of the earth. The families
of the nations will feel warmth with gratitude.

Leadership is the heritage for responsibility.
Responsibility acts with transparency
in accord with accountability.

Those who have passed into the past
celebrate blessings from experience
for progress in leadership with joy.

Our ancestors lived for hope.
My soul lives for faith.
Our descendants will live for love.
