Shailene Woodley as Tris Prior
Theo James as Four Eaten

Soshiki o fuyo
from Ps.14

If the greatest possible being
exists in the mind, then an even greater being
must be possible; one whom exists in the mind
and in reality.

Greatness in being does not lie in the destruction
of others.  Greatness is defined by regard for
rights. It is by respect for others that one earns esteem
for his or her own freedom.

Freedom is granted by the grace of the entire body
within the boundaries of law. Law protects
the body from physical harm. It does not recognize
a right to kill based on membership in a group.

Groups that organize to serve the body
without the expectation of making money
as profit, earn exemption from tax.

When money is made beyond endowment
the group is to be taxed accordingly.

See the great joy of those who lead
by their service to others. Their aim
is to relieve suffering for the afflicted.
Love is their refuge.

Let endowment be learned and earned
with respect for the right to life. Morality
is not defined by the benefit of a single group.
It is formed by the welfare for all.

14 Dixit insipiens

1 The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." *
All are corrupt and commit abominable acts;
there is none who does any good.

2 The Lord looks down from heaven upon us all, *
to see if there is any who is wise,
if there is one who seeks after God.

3 Every one has proved faithless;
all alike have turned bad; *
there is none who does good; no, not one.

4 Have they no knowledge, all those evildoers *
who eat up my people like bread
and do not call upon the Lord?

5 See how they tremble with fear, *
because God is in the company of the righteous.

6 Their aim is to confound the plans of the afflicted, *
but the Lord is their refuge.
7 Oh, that Israel's deliverance would come out of Zion! *
when the Lord restores the fortunes of his people,
Jacob will rejoice and Israel be glad.

Lead by Service
Sābisu ni yotte rīdo
from Ps.89.20+

Sweat bleeds oil for courage.
It anoints leadership for service.

Safety directs risk in action.
Education acts for the strength
of security.

Enemies will be corrected as needed.
Deception will be detected
and dismissed.

Force will only be used in defense.
Lethal force will only be used
against an imminent and deadly threat.

Faithfulness will be rewarded with love.
Authority will achieve victory by reform.

Dominion will extend to established boundaries.
Influence will reach beyond borders by diplomacy.

The anointed will say, “You have appointed me.
I have been destined to set an example by your design.
You are the rock of my salvation.”

You will respect the right to life as the first principle.
Law will be derived by reason from this morality.

I have been drawn from love coursing in the blood
of the entire body. Reason reaches beyond
the end of a season.

Congressional constitution will govern
with the consent of the governed.

Executive authority will only override
destructive policy.

Judgment will reason for the rights of people.

20 I have found David my servant; *
with my holy oil have I anointed him.

21 My hand will hold him fast *
and my arm will make him strong.

22 No enemy shall deceive him, *
nor any wicked man bring him down.

23 I will crush his foes before him *
and strike down those who hate him.

24 My faithfulness and love shall be with him, *
and he shall be victorious through my Name.

25 I shall make his dominion extend *
from the Great Sea to the River.

26 He will say to me, 'You are my Father, *
my God, and the rock of my salvation.'

27 I will make him my firstborn *
and higher than the kings of the earth.

28 I will keep my love for him for ever, *
and my covenant will stand firm for him.

29 I will establish his line for ever *
and his throne as the days of heaven."
30 "If his children forsake my law *
and do not walk according to my judgments;

31 If they break my statutes *
and do not keep my commandments;

32 I will punish their transgressions with a rod *
and their iniquities with the lash;

33 But I will not take my love from him, *
nor let my faithfulness prove false.

34 I will not break my covenant, *
nor change what has gone out of my lips.

35 Once for all I have sworn by my holiness: *
'I will not lie to David.

36 His line shall endure for ever *
and his throne as the sun before me;

37 It shall stand fast for evermore like the moon, *
the abiding witness in the sky.'"

38 But you have cast off and rejected your anointed; *
you have become enraged at him.

39 You have broken your covenant with your servant, *
defiled his crown, and hurled it to the ground.

40 You have breached all his walls *
and laid his strongholds in ruins.

Win the World
Sekai ni kachimasu
from Psalm 24

The earth is a home
that is not owned.

We own our care
for our share.

The world is a concern
that must be learned.

We share the care
when we dare.

We live on land
above the seas.

The rivers feed the deep.

Mind is soul that we keep
above the waters. It is spirit
that welcomes light
from beyond the height of sky.

Who ascends to leadership?
Who sits in the seat of judgment?

Those who value hygiene for health;
who have not pledged loyalty to deceit;
nor sworn allegiance to fraud.

Such will receive blessing from goodness
and reward from the sweat of their labor
in management.

Salvation is a gift from grace, but
investment in risk wins gain
by safety in calculation.

Generation is the goal
of competition for those
who seek it.

Prepare your face
for those who will meet it.

Open the door for your perception.
Let in the light for your conception.

Welcome creativity in your expression.

Enlightenment is there to greet you.

Incense’ scent was sent by the breeze that blew.
The sound of glory rings clear and true.

The means of production for destruction
does not ring for glory in love.

24 Domini est terra

1 The earth is the Lord's and all that is in it, *
the world and all who dwell therein.

2 For it is he who founded it upon the seas *
and made it firm upon the rivers of the deep.

3 "Who can ascend the hill of the Lord? *
and who can stand in his holy place?"

4 "Those who have clean hands and a pure heart, *
who have not pledged themselves to falsehood,
nor sworn by what is a fraud.

5 They shall receive a blessing from the Lord *
and a just reward from the God of their salvation."

6 Such is the generation of those who seek him, *
of those who seek your face, O God of Jacob.
7 Lift up your heads, O gates;
lift them high, O everlasting doors; *
and the King of glory shall come in.

8 "Who is this King of glory?" *
"The Lord, strong and mighty,
the Lord, mighty in battle."

9 Lift up your heads, O gates;
lift them high, O everlasting doors; *
and the King of glory shall come in.

10 "Who is he, this King of glory?" *
"The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory."
