Mercy

Mercy

from Ps.117

Dare
to have mercy.

Mercy endures in memory.

Remember this you nations.
This will last for generations.

That which is legal about law is regal
from the eagle to the beetle,
you people.

Mercy endures in memory
with strength. Gentle generation
is the foundation for love.

Love secures endurance.
Endurance with education
yields wisdom and knowledge
for perspective on perception
in the seat of judgment.

Let the vote denote the number
of those who support policy
for office.

Let the vote connote opposition
to policies that harm the public.

Let freedom ring for people
in kingdom or republic.

Allow defense when police protection
is not at hand; free trade so plutocracy
does not rule the land;
construction for protection
against damage from the elements
not from man;

communications with people
in foreign nations; travel
to experience different sensations
in various locations.

Beauty is in the strength of the song.
Success rings long with the bong
of the gong.

Smoke drifts slowly
from the echo of dreams.

Open the gates of perspective
on perception for consciousness.
I will see light with the sight
that is given to perceive.

I will draw the inference
that reason helps me to believe.

I will live to declare the art
that science has drawn for me.

My ride is the tide.
I surf the turf like a porpoise
with purpose; dancing
with waves through caves
and spirals.

Dare to have mercy.
It endures for you.

117 Laudate Dominum

1 Praise the Lord, all you nations; *
laud him, all you peoples.

2 For his loving-kindness toward us is great, *
and the faithfulness of the Lord endures for ever.
Hallelujah!

118 Confitemini Domino

1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; *
his mercy endures for ever.

2 Let Israel now proclaim, *
"His mercy endures for ever."
3 Let the house of Aaron now proclaim, *
"His mercy endures for ever."

4 Let those who fear the Lord now proclaim, *
"His mercy endures for ever."

5 I called to the Lord in my distress; *
the Lord answered by setting me free.

6 The Lord is at my side, therefore I will not fear; *
what can anyone do to me?

7 The Lord is at my side to help me; *
I will triumph over those who hate me.

8 It is better to rely on the Lord *
than to put any trust in flesh.

9 It is better to rely on the Lord *
than to put any trust in rulers.

10 All the ungodly encompass me; *
in the name of the Lord I will repel them.

11 They hem me in, they hem me in on every side; *
in the name of the Lord I will repel them.

12 They swarm about me like bees;
they blaze like a fire of thorns; *
in the name of the Lord I will repel them.

13 I was pressed so hard that I almost fell, *
but the Lord came to my help.

14 The Lord is my strength and my song, *
and he has become my salvation.

15 There is a sound of exultation and victory *
in the tents of the righteous:
16 "The right hand of the Lord has triumphed! *
the right hand of the Lord is exalted!
the right hand of the Lord has triumphed!"

17 I shall not die, but live, *
and declare the works of the Lord.

18 The Lord has punished me sorely, *
but he did not hand me over to death.

19 Open for me the gates of righteousness; *
I will enter them;
I will offer thanks to the Lord.

20 "This is the gate of the Lord; *
he who is righteous may enter."

21 I will give thanks to you, for you answered me *
and have become my salvation.

22 The same stone which the builders rejected *
has become the chief cornerstone.

23 This is the Lord's doing, *
and it is marvelous in our eyes.

24 On this day the Lord has acted; *
we will rejoice and be glad in it.

25 Hosannah, Lord, hosannah! *
Lord, send us now success.

26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord; *
we bless you from the house of the Lord.

27 God is the Lord; he has shined upon us; *
form a procession with branches up to the horns of the altar.
28 "You are my God, and I will thank you; *
you are my God, and I will exalt you."

29 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; *
his mercy endures for ever.

Immanence:

Becoming Better

I will sing with love
for the generations.

Love resounds
from before the beginning.

Light is proclaimed faithfully
even at night.

Life is a right
from the Maker of light.

The garden of providence
provides promise.

The promise is for rights.
The first right is for life.

The others are for liberty
and justice for all.

There is the right to education,
employment and health care;
to the generation of respect for being
and becoming;

to speech, media expression,
religion, assembly, fair public policy and elections;
to investment in trade, travel, communication
and fortification against natural disaster;

to sing, dance and play for happiness;

There is the right to justice
without cruelty in punishment;
to defense when police protection
is not there;

to government that protects rights
and will not exploit
the protection of rights
for invasion, genocide
or the death penalty;

to a fair trial against false accusation;

to conviction only when the charge
of crime has been proven in a court of law
according to the body of evidence
obtained by scientific investigation
in relation to probable cause
[testimony must be corroborated
by physical evidence or physical evidence
has to be corroborated by credible testimony];

to the prosecution of murder
for any who kill an unarmed person;

to public policy that supports people
as taxpayers and residents;
that does not promote the scheme
of increasing advantage
for the wealthiest residents.

Love and truth lead the way
to responsibility with joy.

Happy are those who sing
with faith for love.

I will sing with love
for the generations.

Psalm 89

Part I Misericordias Domini

1 Your love, O Lord, for ever will I sing; *
from age to age my mouth will proclaim your faithfulness.

2 For I am persuaded that your love is established for ever; *
you have set your faithfulness firmly in the heavens.

3 "I have made a covenant with my chosen one; *
I have sworn an oath to David my servant:

4 'I will establish your line for ever, *
and preserve your throne for all generations.'"

5 The heavens bear witness to your wonders, O Lord, *
and to your faithfulness in the assembly of the holy ones;

6 For who in the skies can be compared to the Lord? *
who is like the Lord among the gods?

7 God is much to be feared in the council of the holy ones, *
great and terrible to all those round about him.

8 Who is like you, Lord God of hosts? *
O mighty Lord, your faithfulness is all around you.

9 You rule the raging of the sea *
and still the surging of its waves.

10 You have crushed Rahab of the deep with a deadly wound; *
you have scattered your enemies with your mighty arm.

11 Yours are the heavens; the earth also is yours; *
you laid the foundations of the world and all that is in it.

12 You have made the north and the south; *
Tabor and Hermon rejoice in your Name.

13 You have a mighty arm; *
strong is your hand and high is your right hand.

14 Righteousness and justice are the foundations of your throne; *
love and truth go before your face.

15 Happy are the people who know the festal shout! *
they walk, O Lord, in the light of your presence.

16 They rejoice daily in your Name; *
they are jubilant in your righteousness.

17 For you are the glory of their strength, *
and by your favor our might is exalted.
18 Truly, the Lord is our ruler; *
The Holy One of Israel is our King.

Diamond

The broken bowl
had been a bell till it fell.
The squeaking squeal from the wheel
yields wealth for health
from the well.

A silver cord streams
from the container of dreams.

Drink deep before sleep.

A diamond shines
with the facets of light’s life
in mind.

She smiles for the delight of sight.

Diamonds start as coal;
a source for intense force
realigns carbon, beneath moles;
making the philosopher’s stone
a blown clone for a tome.

Opaque matter, darker than night,
becomes transparent, shining sparkle in light.
Hardship hardens your core for sure
to make your heart shine like the cure.

Performers stay healthy
so their products are wealthy.
The best work smart with rested heart
for the next test to start.

These followed their food.
These chopped what the beaver chewed.

These grew what they could.
These shot from where they stood.

These worked in mines.
These hunted from blinds.

These worked in fields.
These negotiated deals.
These squealed for appeals.

These worked in factories.
These made customers happy.

The redeemer’s redemption came
by correction in detention.

These formed conception with education
to avoid the deception of perception
by the sensation of the senses.

All these weathered the storm;
while these struggled through thorns.

These strengthened their homes
while these burned deceased bones.

The weather is the greatest of friends
or the worst to offend.

We accomplish all things with good weather.
Natural disaster destroys anything, but bling or feathers.

Shine like a crazy diamond.
You won’t feel like a siren
on an island off the horizon.

Ps. 107

Part I Confitemini Domino

1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, *
and his mercy endures for ever.

2 Let all those whom the Lord has redeemed proclaim *
that he redeemed them from the hand of the foe.

3 He gathered them out of the lands; *
from the east and from the west,
from the north and from the south.

4 Some wandered in desert wastes; *
they found no way to a city where they might dwell.

5 They were hungry and thirsty; *
their spirits languished within them.

6 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, *
and he delivered them from their distress.

7 He put their feet on a straight path *
to go to a city where they might dwell.

8 Let them give thanks to the Lord for his mercy *
and the wonders he does for his children.

9 For he satisfies the thirsty *
and fills the hungry with good things.
10 Some sat in darkness and deep gloom, *
bound fast in misery and iron;

11 Because they rebelled against the words of God *
and despised the counsel of the Most High.

12 So he humbled their spirits with hard labor; *
they stumbled, and there was none to help.

13 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, *
and he delivered them from their distress.

14 He led them out of darkness and deep gloom *
and broke their bonds asunder.

15 Let them give thanks to the Lord for his mercy *
and the wonders he does for his children.

16 For he shatters the doors of bronze *
and breaks in two the iron bars.

17 Some were fools and took to rebellious ways; *
they were afflicted because of their sins.

18 They abhorred all manner of food *
and drew near to death's door.

19 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, *
and he delivered them from their distress.

20 He sent forth his word and healed them *
and saved them from the grave.

21 Let them give thanks to the Lord for his mercy *
and the wonders he does for his children.

22 Let them offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving *
and tell of his acts with shouts of joy.
23 Some went down to the sea in ships *
and plied their trade in deep waters;

24 They beheld the works of the Lord *
and his wonders in the deep.

25 Then he spoke, and a stormy wind arose, *
which tossed high the waves of the sea.

26 They mounted up to the heavens and fell back to the depths; *
their hearts melted because of their peril.

27 They reeled and staggered like drunkards *
and were at their wits' end.

28 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, *
and he delivered them from their distress.

29 He stilled the storm to a whisper *
and quieted the waves of the sea.

30 Then were they glad because of the calm, *
and he brought them to the harbor they were bound for.

31 Let them give thanks to the Lord for his mercy *
and the wonders he does for his children.

32 Let them exalt him in the congregation of the people *
and praise him in the council of the elders.

Dawn

Dawn

from Ps.19

The day runs on
from the breaking dawn.
It finds its way
to the new born fawn.

The fragrant flower demurs
demurely by the gentle river. The breeze stirs
the leaves in the trees for sight to seize.

Birds chirp ‘merry weather’ for insects and seeds.
Blossoms bloom for light, warmth and wind.
The bees buzz fuzzy for their business bin.

The sad flower lets go
of her smallest petal.

Flutters shudder
in the flight from sound
to the ground. Sadness
sinks from the brash crashing flash
in the growth of light in day
to the dark stash of gladness
in the depth of roots.

Ho! Ho!
Ho Honey.

Sweet daughter
by the altered altars
that nature offers
you know you oughta
dance like the otter
plays in water.

Dance daughter
for your offers
from alien paupers
without flying saucers.
.
You will be loved
because you are loving.

The story for glory
grows glory for story
with the warning that violence
is not the catalyst for change or silence.

Cruelty creates atavism
for pain and disdain.
Love is the votive motive
for motoring to a better way.
L’amour is automotive.

Faith looks past the impossible
to possibility. The promise
for improvement is seen
and believed. The present
presence presses forward
into the future until it has passed
into the past for reverie or review.

Love is true.
Love is you.

Cœli enarrant

1 The heavens declare the glory of God, *
and the firmament shows his handiwork.

2 One day tells its tale to another, *
and one night imparts knowledge to another.

3 Although they have no words or language, *
and their voices are not heard,

4 Their sound has gone out into all lands, *
and their message to the ends of the world.

5 In the deep has he set a pavilion for the sun; *
it comes forth like a bridegroom out of his chamber;
it rejoices like a champion to run its course.
6 It goes forth from the uttermost edge of the heavens
and runs about to the end of it again; *
nothing is hidden from its burning heat.
7 The law of the Lord is perfect
and revives the soul; *
the testimony of the Lord is sure
and gives wisdom to the innocent.

8 The statutes of the Lord are just
and rejoice the heart; *
the commandment of the Lord is clear
and gives light to the eyes.

9 The fear of the Lord is clean
and endures for ever; *
the judgments of the Lord are true
and righteous altogether.

10 More to be desired are they than gold,
more than much fine gold, *
sweeter far than honey,
than honey in the comb.

11 By them also is your servant enlightened, *
and in keeping them there is great reward.

12 Who can tell how often he offends? *
cleanse me from my secret faults.

13 Above all, keep your servant from presumptuous sins;
let them not get dominion over me; *
then shall I be whole and sound,
and innocent of a great offense.

14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, *
O Lord, my strength and my redeemer.

Smooth

Oona

Out to Launch ;)

Smooth
From Ps.22:22

Unh! Unh!
Oona plays a tune for the room
with a bloom in the boom; no doom
and gloom from the tomb.
Sweep non de plume
with your broom.

Zoom. Zoom.

The earth speaks truth filled with fruit.
Truth sings youth for the sleuth
like sweet vermouth at the voting booth.

Elemental forces endorse detection
to see perception in perspective
to deter mass deception.

The world is the course
for discourse about the force
for the source; we, the people,
and me, the person.

The ruckus
for the goal of justice
runs the bus to the trust
that is right for us.

Fight the blight
to beat the strife
that corrupts our life.

Do not abhor
care for the poor.
Love will soar from shore to shore.
You will adore more safety for your door.

Sweep non de plume
with your broom
from the room.

Zoom. Zoom.

The families of the nations
will have patience
for your stations
and situations.

The earth will welcome friends
to the length of awesome ends.

22 Praise the Lord, you that fear him; *
stand in awe of him, O offspring of Israel;
all you of Jacob's line, give glory.
23 For he does not despise nor abhor the poor in their poverty;
neither does he hide his face from them; *
but when they cry to him he hears them.

24 My praise is of him in the great assembly; *
I will perform my vows in the presence of those who
worship him.

25 The poor shall eat and be satisfied,
and those who seek the Lord shall praise him: *
"May your heart live for ever!"

26 All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to
the Lord, *
and all the families of the nations shall bow before him.

27 For kingship belongs to the Lord; *
he rules over the nations.

28 To him alone all who sleep in the earth bow down
in worship; *
all who go down to the dust fall before him.
